A commitment to sustainability requires us meet the needs of the present without compromising the future. And while many of us support the notion of sustainable development in the world, we often do not apply the same principles when it comes to daily physical movement. This alignment-focused vinyasa flow class will teach you how to employ your muscles and tissues as a functioning community for greater longevity in your yoga practice. It will challenge you to temper your flexibility with conscious muscular engagement, while facilitating a state of relaxed awareness and compassion. The hope is that you will become your own microcosm of sustainability as a positive example for the world.
