What is Ashtanga?

Practiced around the world and widely regarded as the foundation for modern day Vinyasa practice offered in most U.S. yoga studios, this workshop will introduce you to the combination of breathing and movement techniques involved in creating a powerfully therapeutic approach to your yoga practice. At its core the concentration required is developed through focus points producing a connection of mind, body and spirit. Traditionally practiced one-on-one in Mysore India, you will experience the core of the practice in a group setting being led through posture after posture.
